Runnnn Forrest Runnnnn or "Are You Stupid or Something?"Is it just me or does anyone else notice these things? A couple weeks ago I came home from work and turned on the TV. Nothing unusual about that except I saw that "Forrest Gump" was on and I thought great one of my favorite movies. Can you imagine my disappointment when I noticed it was only Allan Patton being interviewed on channel 18? You have got to admit that there is an uncanny resemblance. There are however some noteable differences between the two. Forrest Gump was a inadvertant hero and Patton is anything but. Forrest gump was loyal to his people and Patton is only loyal to a few stooges who pay him lip service. Forrest gump was abstemious Patton is definetly not. Patton has made a point of alienating every segment of rural Oliver. Here is a man who even fights "The Gleaners", a non profit orginization feeding the hungry around the world. He takes on the wine industry and attacks common citizens. He has picked on the seniors and the farmers and is also guilty of ethics violations at the request of Oliver chronicle staff.
